Call for Artists: 2028 Exhibition Gallery Show

The Lanesboro Arts Exhibition Gallery seeks artworks that enrich both artist and community and exhibit a unique vision, original voice, and quality craftsmanship for its 2028 exhibition season. These pieces should be diverse and accessible to a wide range of people. The Jury Panel of Lanesboro Arts consists of professional artists, art dealers, consumers and the Gallery Manager. For over 30 years, the Lanesboro Arts Juried Sales and Exhibition Galleries have served as public gathering spaces where artists are uplifted and visitors are inspired. In line with Lanesboro Art’s mission to serve as a regional catalyst for artistic excellence and educational development in providing diverse art experiences for all ages, the Galleries present exhibitions, programming, and sales opportunities that initiate discussion and connection. Artists selected for the Exhibition Gallery are chosen through a demonstration of clear artistic vision, quality craftsmanship, thought provoking qualities, diverse representation, and alignment with Lanesboro Arts’ values. All visual arts media are eligible. Artwork for sale in the Exhibition Gallery is sold at a consignment rate of 60% of the retail price to the artist. Artwork in the Exhibition Gallery is not required to be for sale. The Exhibition Gallery typically hosts five solo or group shows each year, with each show running for approximately 8 weeks. While online submissions are strongly preferred, artists may request a hard copy application. Lanesboro Arts will also accept video application submissions sent to gallery@lanesboroarts.org with the subject line “Gallery Application.” The current application window is for exhibitions taking place in 2027.
