Jentel Artist Residency Application Guidelines All Application materials, including resumes and work samples, are submitted online through Submittable . Applicants should check their Submittable profiles for correspondence pertaining to their submissions before deadlines . Application Open/Close Winter/Spring Sessions (with notification by November 15th) For three (3) week residencies taking place January 15th - May 7th Open February 1st; Close September 15th at 12 Noon (MT) Summer/Fall Sessions (with notification by March 15th) For three (3) week residencies taking place May 15th - December 7th Open October 1st; Close January 15th at 12 Noon (MT) All residencies start on the 15th of each month and end on the 7th of the next month. No exceptions. Work Sample Guidelines Please prepare the following work samples: Work completed in the past two years Statement contextualizing the work No PowerPoint Image Work Samples : 10 digital images (maximum of 2MB for each file) Required image data: title, materials, dimensions, and date completed Video Work Samples : 5 minutes total for time-based work Required video data: title, TRT, and completion date If submitting video and images: maximum 5 minutes video plus 5 images Work samples must be Mac/PC-compatible files You may begin your application, leave and return as many times as necessary to complete the form PRIOR to clicking the submit button at the bottom of the completed form. Important : Do not submit your application form until you have completely finished editing as your application will be finalized at that time.
