micro-Residencies Open Call for 2026

´ace is an acronym that stands for "arte contemporáneo en expansión", which is Spanish for "expanding contemporary art". Our main mission is to promote contemporary artistic practices and the exploration of their multiple interfaces through residency programs, which are aimed at artists, curators and researchers, and promote collaborative work, exchange, debate and experimentation. micro-Residencies are mainly aimed at starting a new project, delving into an ongoing project or finishing ideas/works. Each micro-Residency intends to be different, so that each resident develops their process according to their needs. ´ace provides space and professional assistance to create new works in a short but intense period of time, an ideal format for residents who belong to academic institutions or for those who do not have availability for long periods of time, since it allows them to venture into the world of residencies in a short and intensive period. Future residents can apply for micro-Residencies at any time of the year. For Production and Exploration residencies, we hold 4 open calls every year, the deadline to which are: January 31st , April 30th , July 31st and October 31st . Deadline October 31, 2026
