#33 - The Things We Share (art & photography)
Whitefish Review
All art and photography - Submit up to 10 files. #33: "The Things We Share" Publication May 2027 What passes between us? What do we give, what do we receive, and what do we offer in return? Guest-edited by Native American author and ecologist Cristina Eisenberg, "The Things We Share" explores reciprocity in its deepest sense—the relationships that bind us to one another, to place, to the living world, and to future generations. We seek work that considers common ground across cultures and communities, and imagines new possibilities for conservation and healing of trauma rooted in mutual respect, responsibility, cultural humility, and exchange. Broad interpretations of the theme are always welcome! Submission format: *VERY IMPORTANT - PLEASE FOLLOW* → JPEG (.jpg) format → 300 dpi → 6 x 9 inches (in either orientation) We need to review submissions at the resolution at which we might print them. It is not required, but it may help if you write a short narrative about your submissions to bring us into your mind a bit more.
